Lumbini Women's Handmade Drawstring Tote Bag | Stitched with Hope

A Handmade Bag with a Story of Empowerment

Made by women in Lumbini, Nepal, this blue drawstring tote bag combines practical design with a meaningful story. Featuring carry handles and a drawstring closure, it is suitable for everyday carrying and storage.

The white hand-inspired design reflects the strength and potential of working hands. Through sewing classes, women in Lumbini gradually develop practical skills, from learning to use scissors to mastering sewing techniques. Each step represents their growing confidence and their journey towards greater independence.

More Than a Bag, A Story of Growth

Every handmade piece reflects the women's dedication to learning and improving their skills. The sewing programme offers more than practical training; it creates opportunities for women to build confidence, develop a livelihood skill and explore new possibilities for themselves and their families.

Every stitch carries hope. Every act of support encourages a journey towards independence.
